An amazing find! The food and service was an A+! The food came out super fast, they're generous with the sides, portions are big, and our table was cared for wonderfully by the owner. Highly recommend!

I went here for a Wednesday dinner to try out some soondae, which is blood sausage. On paper, it is not for everyone, but everyone should still give it a try just to experience what it is! For solo, you can just get a spicy soondae soup and call it a day, since there is glass noodle soondae, meat and vegetables soondae, and pork in a pork based broth. For us, we got the spicy soondae soup, ox bone broth with brisket and glass noodles, and the combination soondae with pork meat plate. This was more than enough for 2 people and we had a lot of leftovers. The spicy soondae soup is very soothing and has a nice kick. There are both kinds of soondae - glass noodle and meat & vegetables, as well as some pork meat. They were on par with the soondae presented in the combination soondae plate. The ox bone broth (seolleongtang) is decent, a bit average. The brisket is very tough but the glass noodles are quite al dente. You season the broth to your liking, which is similar to what other restaurants do too. The combination soondae with pork meat is a hit or miss. The glass noodle soondae is definitely super good, but I was not a fan of the sweet rice, meat, and vegetable soondae as it was quite mushy and falls apart really easily. The pork meat plate was a bit tough and unseasoned, so you do need to dip into the salt or the salted shrimp served to enhance the flavor. If I want a plate format, I would recommend just going with the glass noodle soondae only. Overall, I give 5 stars for the glass noodle soondae and the spicy soondae soup in particular, but the other dishes we got were quite a miss. If I come again, I will only order the glass noodle soondae and/or the spicy soondae soup as those were soooooo delicious.

Stellar soondae restaurant in Federal Way. We ordered pan fried soondae with veg / glass noodles, soondae soup with soondae and meat sampler. Highly recommend for soondae lovers!

So, my daughter and I went to this Soondae place for lunch. There aren't any good ones in Seattle, so we were pretty excited to try it out. And let me tell you, we were not disappointed! The Soondae was so soft and fresh, not like the frozen stuff you usually get. And the hotpot was amazing! It was spicy, but in a good way. It would be perfect if you're hungover. Oh, and their kimchi was delicious too. The owner seemed really nice and friendly. I wish we had a place like this in Seattle. I'm definitely going back to try more things on the menu.

I was on the hunt for a Korean restaurant that was open early so I could get stew or soup. Moobongri popped immediately in my search. Even better it is a Soondae restaurant. So far I have been here 3 times. The first time I ordered the "Spicy Soondae Soup." The server put kimchi and kimchi radishes in front of me with chopsticks and a spoon. The kimchi here is amazing. A little bit salty with a hint of sweetness, just the way I love it. The radishes are delicious. The server brought out my soup totally boiling and steaming. It was glorious looking. Be very careful, this soup is piping. As I quickly found out when I was in too much of a hurry to let it cool off a little. My bad!! No worries though I pushed through the burn. This soup is so grand and phenomenal. Spicy, with a lot of other meat and ingredients. Definitely my new favorite. I was having a contest the next time I made it into the restaurant. I tried the "Spicy Pork-belly Soup," that time. Definitely delicious but the Soondae is definitely my new go to. Today I went back for a second try of the Spicy Soondae Soup. This time more carefully. This will definitely be my favorite Soondae Restaurant from here. The place is well decorated, clean and the service is terrific. Well deserved 5 stars. Nice job on everything.

We decided to do takeaway tonight because of the weather and wanting to eat at home. We have also ordered inside the store too. The first time at the restaurant, there were not enough staff to accommodate the diners. However, food was delicious, and it was just as good eating it at home tonight as well. The soup boiled well at home in our hot pot burner, and the soondae was chewy and just right with a good amount of filling. The kimchi is sweeter than what I remember, but not a biggie. I always look forward to eating from here and we will continue to eat soondae from here because of the cleanliness and delicious taste!

It is really hard to find glutenous glass noodle soondae around. I was really close to make my own. Glad I found this resturant. I was really satisfied with their soondae and of course, I would defiantly come back. Their soondae soup was good too. I prefer the mild original version that I can season it myself but my husband prefers the spicy version. What I like the most is their open hours (8am-10pm). It is hard to find where to eat either early/and late night. And it's even better if I can get hot soup. I would like to try out different menus too.

We tried the location in vegas and loved it so tried the one at home. Same menu minus some of the larger stew offerings. No biggie. I ended up getting the same dish I got in vegas. The spicy pork soup with rice. Taste was almost as good. Side dish offerings were kimchi and kkakdugee (radish kimchee). Typical Korean restaurant service.. not great, not bad. Flavors are def there.. I will def be back

Came in around 11:30 on a Saturday and the restaurant was pretty full. We waited a few minutes before we were seated. The restaurant does seem a bit understaffed and overwhelmed. They seemed to have a lot of to go orders as well. We ordered as soon as we sat down. The food took 15 minutes. We also had to wait a bit to pay afterwards too. We both ordered the spicy soondaeguk and this did not disappoint. It was quite good and was very comparable to the LA location. The kimchi and radish was also yummy. This is a bit out of my way to come often, but it was delicious and I will try to come back whenever I crave this on a rainy weekend.
